Flame Lobsters
Flame lobsters are not just food, they are also friend. A lot of people think that lobsters are only seen in sea food restaurants but in reality, many people nowadays keep lobsters as pets. The problem is that many people are against keeping lobsters in a tank with other invertebrates. Flame lobsters are said to be very aggressive and they are also bad scavengers. What they normally do is to disrupt your aquariums set up.
In general, lobsters are highly recommended to be put in tanks with large fish. Just remember, do not keep your lobster with small fish because they might fall prey to this guy, especially if you are the kind of aquarium owner who forgets to feed his fish on a regular basis or interval. It requires diligence to keep exotic pets such as this.
Flame lobsters resemble a crayfish but are prominently purple, red, and orange. They are small lobsters and normally, they will not grow more than 5 inches. These lobsters are not like the big lobsters you see in pictures and movies. These are predatory kinds of lobsters and are likely to eat anything meaty. Lobsters of this kind like meaty sea foods. To keep your lobster in good shape, your aquarium should have no less than 190 liters or you should at least have a 50-gallon tank. Lighting is not necessary for this pet but the water temperature should be 24 degrees Celsius.
